Super Shapes

Shapes are everywhere! Our next unit, “Super Shapes” will help the children learn more about basic shapes (e.g., circles, squares, triangles, and rectangles) as well as will touch on a few 3-dimensional shapes through art, movement, gross motor play, experimentation and so much more. In addition, the children will explore patterns and symmetry as they explore shapes. The children will be exposed to how some shapes (e.g., square) can be created by putting other shapes together (e.g., two triangles). Our puppet friend, Super Shape Sean, will engage children in songs about shapes as well as ask questions to really get the children thinking!
