Let's Explore Patterns

Patterns are everywhere! From the stripes on a tabby cat to the polka dots on a shirt, patterns are a big part of our world. Our next unit, “Let’s Explore Patterns,” will help children become more aware of patterns as they occur in both the natural and manmade world. Many of these patterns are visual. We will also explore auditory patterns as they occur in music and spoken language. Finally, we will even make patterns with our bodies through movement. This is definitely going to be a unit that has the children actively involved in learning visually, auditorily and kinesthetically.
